Ron has a blend of skills that include attracting, engaging and retaining talented players. He has coached youth basketball for twenty-five plus years at many levels. He devotes his time to not just coaching but also fostering relationships with other coaches, families and communities.
Ron has a great understanding of the sport of basketball and program value. His coaching history includes but is not limited to; Head Coach of the Under Armour Future Circuit, Head Coach of the Hoop Group/ NXTGen Circuit as well as one of Lightning’s most popular trainers.
Ron understands and respects diverse backgrounds, interests and concerns of the players and their parents. That quality helps him build trust and inclusivity which in turn aids the Lightning organization in placing the player(s) on a team that is a good fit for them.
